Enjoy Local Music
Borderland: Saturday, August 8th, 2:00 pm

Descendants of nomads and artists… we carry with us memories, wind, and the dust of ancestors. Our sound touches on the edge of a space between cultures, melodies heard just before sleeping with dancing rhythms beat out by the bones of lost sages. With Juliann Wang on guitar and Graham Nelson on flute and harmonica, this is the Borderland.

Zach Livingston: Saturday, August 8th, 5:00 pm & Sunday, August 9th, 4:00 pm

Zach puts together his sound by molding the sensibilities of a folk singer-songwriter with the passion of a soul singer and the smiling melancholy of a bluesman. Having done a lot of traveling and seen a lot of things, Zach has a lot of stories and sentiments set to music – but the real aim is to find something timeless in those stories and write songs people really connect with. Music by a vagabond, written for everyone – best taken with a tall frosty beverage, a grain of salt, and a love of life. More info atwww.zachlivingston.com.

Jeremy Richards: Sunday, August 9th, 2:00 pm

With a music style that sounds like a cross between Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer, Jeremy Richards can be found at Murphy’s Bleachers in Chicago on Thursday nights and Key Wester in Naperville on Tuesday nights. More info at www.myspace.com/jeremyrichardsmusic.
