Ravenswood ArtWalk: Saturday, October 3rd & Sunday, October 4th

MOE Executive Curator, Diane Ponder, is a featured artist and will be curating the Chicago Artist’s Month Show at Moss Gallery as part of the Ravenswood Art Walk. Each year, ArtWalk encompasses more than 50 venues and the art work of over 150 working, professional and emerging artists and performance groups. Most artists sell their work at the event! Recycle Me is growing, thanks to you, their loyal customers!

What’s New.
They are growing! Recycle Me is now in boutiques around Chicagoland and soon to be available online at other online retail stores. They are excited about growing, but that has meant another change. Their prices have increased online so they don’t sell for less than the average boutique price. But, their mailing list customers will continue to receive exclusive discounts through their online coupons. They want you to know they appreciate your business and support and thank you for helping them grow and increase the demand for organic cotton!

June Events.
If you are in Chicagoland they will be at Andersonville’s Midsummerfest this weekend, June 13th and 14th. Recycle Me will also have a tent at Summerfest June 20th and 21st. You can check out their event page for more details. Recycle Me is also working with Mimi’s Organic Exchange and we will be at the new Leeway Market, starting this summer. And finally Recycle Me will be working with Ranalli’s on Berwyn in Andersonville to offer our shirts during the Andersonville Farmer’s Market, which starts Wednesday, June 24th.

For the 2009 season we are introducing the newly formed Harvest Moon Farms Producers Guild. Our guild is comprised of 6 area farms growing certified organic and certified naturally grown produce. Creating the Guild will help us better serve our clients and CSA shareholders by offering larger quantities and more varieties. It also serves the farms by allowing us to share resources and collaborate on transportation and distribution, which in turn reduces our collective carbon footprint.

We offer a full and half share weekly CSA program, retail and restaurant sales, urban vegetable gardening consulting and design services, and customized growing programs for chefs and food service professionals. You can find us on Fridays from 4 until 8 at our Farmer Friday Farmers market in the parking lot of Uncommon Ground Restaurant at 1401 West Devon, June through October. You can also enjoy our products at some of the area’s top restaurants. Visitors to the farm are welcome and 2009 will bring new Farm to Table events with some of Chicago’s top culinary talent. Click here to learn more.
