For the 2009 season we are introducing the newly formed Harvest Moon Farms Producers Guild. Our guild is comprised of 6 area farms growing certified organic and certified naturally grown produce. Creating the Guild will help us better serve our clients and CSA shareholders by offering larger quantities and more varieties. It also serves the farms by allowing us to share resources and collaborate on transportation and distribution, which in turn reduces our collective carbon footprint.

We offer a full and half share weekly CSA program, retail and restaurant sales, urban vegetable gardening consulting and design services, and customized growing programs for chefs and food service professionals. You can find us on Fridays from 4 until 8 at our Farmer Friday Farmers market in the parking lot of Uncommon Ground Restaurant at 1401 West Devon, June through October. You can also enjoy our products at some of the area’s top restaurants. Visitors to the farm are welcome and 2009 will bring new Farm to Table events with some of Chicago’s top culinary talent. Click here to learn more.

Harvest Moon Farms will plant two trees for every full CSA share sold and one tree for every half share sold.
