Featuring the soulful vocals and sublime storytelling of Boston musician Nicole Edgecomb, and accompanied by autoharp, sequencer, trance percussion, and other odd instruments, Faebotica weaves a rich tapestry of Americana, ambient electronica, and magickal invocations. Ms. Edgecomb has performed with a variety of Boston bands, including Incus, Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band and Zili Misik, the winners of the 2008 Boston Music Award for Outstanding International Music Act. She is joined by her partner Darrell Brown, also formerly of Incus and the Boston band Lucretia’s Daggers, and Chicago musician and festival drummer Jason Winslade. Also, featuring subtle trance jams by Chicago percussionists Dreamtime Tribe, this evening will be a ritual journey of love, death and rebirth through realms inhabited by dark goddesses, fierce lovers, and longing spirits.www.myspace.com/faebotica
