Introducing CHI-KA-GO – a multi-media dance party with DJ’s CarlaStarla and DJSinse. Art, poetry, music, and healers, at Yoga Now, 742 N. Lasalle Suite 201. $10 admission.

Come for the 8 pm opening ceremony Gong Meditation with Jana Scalziti and loosen up with some yoga stretches with Amy Treciokas. Body work by Cindy Huston and Jen Berman and AngeLynx readings on offering basis. John Sacelli in the Poet’s Corner reading from his new book Lynx in Time. Photography exhibit by Mimi Clayton.

Rock the Earth Volunteer Training Class: Saturday, November 14th, 12pm-2pm

So what Rocks your Earth???

We only have few spots left for Rock the Earth volunteer training. This is your chance to volunteer for a well-respected, grassroots environmental organization that partners with the music community to educate and bring awareness about environmental initiatives and protecting our earth. Based out of Denver, Chicago now has a growing team of volunteers who work various concerts and eco-friendly events all over the area, year round.

If you love live music, and have been looking for a way to donate your time – consider Rock the Earth! Training will offer a historical and current background about the organization, plus the ins and outs of tabling an event, a chance to meet like-minded friends and the opportunity to sign up for upcoming events. Studio BE is the hottest new Performing Arts Studio in the city. Located in the heart of the Lakeview area of Chicago, at 3110 N. Sheffield Ave, just steps off the Belmont El. Studio BE is home to a wide variety of performances ranging from improv, stand up comedy, dance, variety acts and music.

Studio Be reserves the right to card anybody who looks younger than 35 years of age. They have a concession stand and sell ice, cups, mixers, and snacks.
