The Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce and the Copernicus Cultural & Civic Center are teaming up to host the 10th Annual JEFF FEST. This year the festival will be held on the grounds of the Copernicus Cultural and Civic Center at Lawrence and Lipps Avenues during the weekend of June 25, 26 and 27. Some may be familiar with this location as the Taste of Polonia is hosted here every year.
The three-day fest features a delicious variety of traditional and non traditional festival foods, two stages- the main one for featured performers and a smaller community stage for up and coming local bands, children’s dance and choir performances. Also featured are merchandise vendors, original handicrafts, Classic Car Show, Radio Disney Live and carnival games for kid’s entertainment. This is a FEST for every one of all ages.
Your participation in the FEST – whether through sponsorship and/or having a booth there – is a great way to promote your business and to demonstrate your support of the community. In addition, FEST proceeds will help fund the programs and services offered by the Chamber and Copernicus. Entering its 76th year, the Chamber is a networking and civic organization which promotes the Jefferson Park business district and provides great programs to the community, including high school scholarships and fun activities for families. The Copernicus Center, which includes a restored 80-year-old theater, is an important anchor in our business district and is host to a wide variety of cultural activities. A successful JEFF FEST will go a long way toward helping the Chamber and Copernicus to sustain their daily operations and to meet their charitable and civic-minded goals.
